Logic pro x midi controller no sound free.Working with MIDI Controllers in Logic Pro X
By colinxyNovember 18, in Logic Pro. I'm a pretty new user to logic pro x. I have a macbook pro, os x yosemite installed. It seems I can't get sound either from audio or from a software instrument, using an external keyboard directly connected to the computer. I installed the interface driver and checked the Audio Midi Setup where it shows up but I can't edit the dials e.
On logic itself, i can see the channels are receiving sound both from the audio and from the software instrument tracks, but i don't hear anything. M-Audio Axiom Pro Did that. Just to be clear, when I switch the audio input and output to "built-in", I can get sound - from software instruments or drummer tracks.
But when I switch back to the Sternberg interface, no sound except that I can see the channel strips are receiving something, though there is no oscillation on the master channel strip. When I try audio, then there's also no sound.
I guess it has to be the stein berg, even though it's brand new? Is there any other way I can test that. Did you checked all your sound drivers? Sometimes after their logic pro x midi controller no sound free it appears. Again install sound drivers and then check it.

Built-in audio output works fine but any input through the interface - focus rite this time - doesn't register on the track meters, even though I can see from the interface that it's receiving a singal. The Focusrite is picked up by Logic and doesn't need any drivers. Otherwise audio on my computer is fine. But now I'm hearing the amp sound, not the internal plug-ins. And I still don't get why i can't get sound out of my mac speakers. The sound you're currently getting is likely from the direct monitoring function of the 2i2 - this can be toggled with a switch on the front panel of the 2i2.

Not even a signal being received. Using the audio midi setup, i can't seem to change the parameters for the interface steinberg ur22 either, so maybe it's a problem with that.

On top of the two previous recommendations by whereismymind and charliegoffage, I would for now limit your testing to something very simple: open the loop browser and click a loop to see its little speaker icon. Check to make sure that your Output logic pro x midi controller no sound free strip in the Inspector the one on the right shows signal on its meter.
